How to Do a Ghost Hunt

The following are helpful tips in ghost hunting with consideration of your safety:

* Always go with someone else when you do ghost hunting for your safety and peace of mind.

* Always pray before and after a ghost hunt to avoid annoying ghost to go with you in your home.

* Make sure that your equipment is fully charge and be sure to bring some extra batteries because ghost can drain fully charged instruments.

* Don’t take pictures right away in the area but rather give those ghosts some time to get used to you.

* Always do an initial visit before a ghost investigation for your safety. You may do it during daytime to familiarize yourself on the surroundings.

* Large groups should be divided into smaller groups. Four persons per team or less is preferred.

*Bring a notebook and a pen and take note significant unusual activities. Start by taking notes on the start time of the investigation, weather conditions and so on. Also, record every light in the area in order not to confuse it with anomalies later in the photos. Record everything that you have observed such as strange sounds, meter abnormalities, sightings and emotions or feelings. Each small group should take note and compare at the end of the investigation.

* Majority of places that are haunted are secluded. Be sure to always bring along some equipment to protect you. You may bring a stun gun and spray pepper to fight bad living elements that may come during investigation.

* If you feel that unknown entity want you to get out of the area immediately, then don’t go against this feeling, by all means you should get out. You may end up having something show up when you get home later if you go against that feeling.

* Never force unseen entity to make itself known to you. However, it is fine to ask permission to an entity if you can take photo or record its voice.

* Don’t trespass any private property such as an abandoned house. Make sure to get permission from the owner. If you are caught sneaking around, you could be fined or jailed and it makes the whole ghost hunting community look bad.

* Bring an audio recorder and ask questions to those invisible entities while recording. Pause and wait for an answer. It is also a god practice to ask some questions then leave the recording device for about 20 minutes. You may get replies when you come back.

* Don’t forget to thank those invisible beings for any evidences that you have gathered during an investigation.
